On payments, Belgium leaves little choice: bancontact and Bancontact Pay cover nearly every deposit, while the withdrawal arrives by transfer. What you may still know as Payconiq has been Bancontact Pay since March 2026.
Per transaction Bancontact Pay lets €1500 through, and €2500 per day. The money is available at once; withdrawing takes as a rule one to three banking days, on top of the processing time on the operator's side.
From signup to first payout
Opening an account varies little: real name, date of birth and an identity check before the first withdrawal. Have your identity card and a recent address document ready.
